Happy Friday! Today has been a good day because I finally slowed down and took time to take care of myself. It's rare that I take "me" time but today I had to do it. This was a long and stressful week, especially the first half and that caused a lot more stress which caused my anxiety to be worse. Today I went out on my balcony, lounged there for a while with my eyes closed and I felt everything melting off and away. I've also totally slowed down today. Normally I race around doing everything and today I slowed down. It's made a big difference with my anxiety. I feel like I can breathe, I feel like this is how life would feel without anxiety. Guess this just shows how much slowing down and taking care of myself makes a difference.

That's so amazing Pixie, I'm really happy for you. Taking time for yourself and slowing down is so important for our mental health. I usually am on the go go go and went I don't slow down then I notice my anxiety gets a lot worse. But when I do slow down and take time for myself, my anxiety is so much better.

pixie, that's so smart. i try to do that every day if/when i can. it's so important to my mental health. if i don't have some alone time where i can really center myself then my anxiety starts to spiral.
