Anxiety Mediation Overview: Side Effects Of Nardil

The antidepressant Nardil, in the class of antidepressants known as monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs), is also frequently prescribed as a treatment for anxiety disorders. Many people tolerate the drug well, but it is not unusual to experience a few side effects.

The following side effects may occur while taking Nardil and generally do not require medical attention unless they are bothersome or severe: dizziness, weakness or drowsiness/fatigue, insomnia, constipation, weight gain, dry mouth, impotence or difficulty achieving orgasm.
