I know that my stress has always been a trigger for my anxiety and sometimes depression. Lately I started getting really bad neck pain when I start to get anxious. I am not sure if this is related but it scares me.

hey blair i don't get neck pain but i get awful back pain. my doctor told me that's where i hold all of my tension. when you have anxiety your muscles tense up whether you realize it or not and everyone hold tension in different places. try an ice pack to alleviate the pain, it may be inflamed. that's what i do with my back.

yeah, there are so many aches and pains that can come from the tension caused by anxiety, it's pretty unbelievable. i've had periods of bad aches and pains that i was afraid that they wouldn't go away but they do. i take baths with epsom salts and that helps alleviate the aches a lot. i think it's all about relaxing as much as you can. do whatever gets you to that place the most. for me, it's baths.
