anyone have anxiety about anxiety?

hi there, just wondering if anyone here has anxiety about anxiety because as wild as it sounds i definitely deal with that on a daily basis. i was reading an article here about mindfulness meditation and it talks about anxiety about anxiety which really spoke to me. i have never heard anyone talk about having anxiety about anxiety but there it was. sorry if it sounds a bit crazy but i'll worry about my anxiety and getting anxiety before i even have anxiety and that seems to cause anxiety. i don't know how to stop that cycle, i don't know what to do to get over that.

I think this is actually pretty normal. I feel like going through and getting anxiety attacks is such a tough situation to be in that your mind and body start to fear when and where it will happen again. I feel like it is some sort of variation of a PTSD.

boy do i ever bali, i swear i'll sit and worry about when my next wave of anxiety is going to hit. is it going to hit me at the grocery store or when i'm out with friends? then this gives me anxiety. just thinking about anxiety makes me more stressed and gives me anxiety. i'm glad i'm not the only one. sometimes i feel like i'm going mad with all my worry. it's a ride that i can't seem to get off of.

Yes, yes, and yes! I absolutely have anxiety about anxiety. I have anxiety about panic attacks. The cycle never ends and I can't seem to get off the ride. I would love to not worry about anxiety at all and when I go through periods where I have little to no anxiety then that worry melts away but at the first sign of anxiety again I start to worry about what it will evolve to.
