Anxiety Nausea: Causes and Treatment

Psychological problems associated with nausea and vomiting include anxiety nausea. Nausea and vomiting are, in most cases, harmless. Sometimes constant anxiety nausea and vomiting may indicate a serious illness. In a small percentage of individuals, prolonged vomiting can be dangerous, and lead to dehydration.

Sometimes applying a cold washcloth to your mouth can help stop the throwing up. Feeling queasy and vomiting may make you feel more anxious, and this can make anxiety nausea worse.
